Business Advisor Service
This popular service is run by fully qualified business advisors providing free one hour sessions tailored to your needs. Available on Mondays to Fridays throughout the year but must be booked in advance due to high demand.
 
Business Information / Skills Advice
All our staff are business information experts who are happy to help you access databases, be aware of information sources, signpost you to the right supplier, and help you up your skills. This is available every working day as a drop in for up to 15mins but if you want more time than you have to book or check for specific talks being held.
 
Creative Industries
Our team has many years experience in working with creative people and provides business advice and creative support geared to individual creatives’ needs, especially in the areas of film, art, writers, music, theatre, web design and exploiting intellectual property. This is done on a drop in and booking system every working day.
 
Image Consultant
Louise Boss is an image specialist who provides free sessions every Tuesday 11-1pm, covering your personal image needs but booking is essential
 
Intellectual Property Rights
We offer a free fifteen minute drop in session for any intellectual property enquiry. This can then be followed up by a one hour consultation with a qualified member of staff to cover topics such as patents, copyright, trademarks, design and IPR rights.
 
Legal Clinics
These free clinics are held every Tuesday with 5.30-630 booked sessions and 6.30-730 Drop in sessions via a range of lawyers from large legal firms. These do not do employment, commercial or criminal law but do include consumer law, contracts, finance and other aspects for consumers and business.
 
Music Business Advice Sessions

Patent Clinic
The patent clinic is held every Wednesday evening via qualified Patent Agents for confidential one to one consultations. These twenty minute appointments are free but must be booked in advance.
